Namibia is known for orange coloured Namib Desert along its Atlantic Ocean coast. The country is home to diverse wildlife, in particular in Etosha National Park’s where the salt pans draw game including rhinos and giraffes. The capital, Windhoek as well as the coastal town of Swakopmund contain German colonial-era buildings.

  • Day 16 | Namibia Safari

    Today is your day, reflect on the journey so far, participate in a safari drive, choose the solitude and quietness of the bird hide or perhaps join the ranger on a bush walks.

    Alternatively, you might want to relax at the hotel, read a book or enjoy a massage (additional cost).b

    This evening experience a traditional African BOMA under the starlit sky.

  • Day 17 | West African Coast

    This morning we head off for a our journey along the Western African coastline. Through Angola and on to Gabon – on the coast here we might see the “surfing hippos” from our high vantage point. You’ll notice the differences in vegetation as we travel North along the coast.

    Dinner onboard has been inspired by our consultant chef and is accompanied by specially chosen wines.

  • Day 18 | Sao Tome & Principe

    As we approach Sao Tome and Principe this morning look out for migrating whales in the waters around the island. Arriving just before lunch time we make our way to Sundy Lodge on the northern edge of Principe.

    We offer various touring options this afternoon to enrich your experience in the resort. Meet at the hotel bar prior to dinner this evening.
